Abstract
U radu su obrađeni osnovni rezonantni sustavi i osnove titranja i pojave valova. Spominje se upotreba različitih metoda koje koriste gibanje valove u građevini te načini širenja potresnih valova. Objašnjava se zbog čega nastaje i koje su posljedice prilikom pojave rezonancije i kako spriječiti pojavu rezonantnog sustava, na koji način mogu funkcionirati prigušivači i koja im je zadaća. U radu su prikazani primjeri kroz povijest koji su doveli do nestabilnosti ili urušavanja konstrukcija zbog pojave rezonancije.
