Abstract
Maxwellove jednadžbe temeljne su jednadžbe elektromagnetizma, koje kombiniraju Gaussov zakon elektriciteta, Faradayev zakon elektromagnetske indukcije, Gaussov zakon magnetizma i Ampèreov zakon struje u vodiču. Maxwellove jednadžbe su skup diferencijalnih jednadžbi, koji uz Lorentzov zakon sile čini temelje elektromagnetizma, električnih krugova i klasične optike. Ove su jednadžbe nazvane po škotskom matematičkom fizičaru Jamesu Clerku Maxwellu, koji je formulirao klasičnu teoriju elektromagnetskog zračenja. Objavio je ta pitanja uključivši zakon Lorentzove sile između godina 1861. i 1862. Maxwellova prva jednadžba sugerirala je da je svjetlost elektromagnetske prirode.
Abstract (english)
Maxwell's equations are the fundamental equations of electromagnetism, combining Gauss's law of electricity, Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, Gauss's law of magnetism, and Ampère's law of current in a conductor. Maxwell's equations are a set of differential equations, which together with Lorentz's law form the basis of electromagnetism, electric circuits and classical optics. These equations are named after the Scottish mathematical physicist James Clerk Maxwell, who formulated the classical theory of electromagnetic radiation. He published the question incorporating the Lorentz force law between 1861 and 1862. Maxwell's first equation suggested that light was electromagnetic in nature.
