Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se rekonstrukcijom primorskih kuća na području Kvarnera, uključujući otoke Cres, Lošinj i Krk, s ciljem očuvanja njihove autentičnosti i funkcionalnosti. Primorske kuće, kao ključni element jadranske arhitekture, odražavaju specifične klimatske, kulturne i povijesne karakteristike ovog područja. Rad opisuje tradicionalne primorske kuće i njihove ključne elemente poput kamenih zidova, drvenih prozora i vrata, krovova pokrivenih crijepom te dvorišta i vrtova. Analizira se povijesni razvoj ovih kuća, s naglaskom na sklad između funkcionalnosti i estetike, te prilagodbu specifičnim klimatskim uvjetima. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na metode rekonstrukcije koje kombiniraju tradicionalne materijale s modernim tehnikama izolacije i energetske učinkovitosti. Kroz primjere tradicionalnih primorskih kuća, rad prikazuje kako se može očuvati kulturna i povijesna vrijednost ovih objekata, a istovremeno osigurati udobnost za suvremeni život.
Abstract (english)
This thesis focuses on the reconstruction of coastal houses in the Kvarner region, including the islands of Cres, Lošinj, and Krk, with the aim of preserving their authenticity and functionality. Coastal houses, as a key element of Adriatic architecture, reflect the specific climatic, cultural, and historical characteristics of this area. The thesis describes traditional coastal houses and their key elements, such as stone walls, wooden windows and doors, roofs covered with tiles, and courtyards and gardens. It analyzes the historical development of these houses, emphasizing the balance between functionality and aesthetics, and their adaptation to specific climatic conditions. Special emphasis is placed on reconstruction methods that combine traditional materials with modern insulation techniques and energy efficiency. Through examples of traditional coastal houses, the thesis demonstrates how the cultural and historical value of these structures can be preserved while ensuring comfort for modern living.
