Abstract
U diplomskom radu analizira se upotreba ekološki prihvatljivih građevinskih materijala i metoda prilagođenih specifičnim klimatskim uvjetima i kulturnom naslijeđu Jadranskih otoka. Fokus je na materijalima poput slame, drva, ovčje vune, kamena, konopljinog betona, pluta, recikliranog betona, stakla i čelika. U radu se naglašava da se održivom gradnjom može smanjiti ekološki otisak, poboljšati energetska učinkovitost i očuvati kulturna baština, dok se primjerima arhitekture ilustrira uspješna integracija tradicionalnih materijala u suvremene projekte.
Abstract (english)
The thesis analyzes the use of enviromentally friendly building mateirjals and methods adapted to the specific climatic conditions and cultural heritage of Adriatic island. The focus is on materijals such as straw, wood, sheep wool, stone, hempcrete, cork, recycled concrete, glass and steel. The study emphasizes how sustainable construction can reduce the ecological footprint, improve energy efficiency, and preserve cultural heritage, while examples of architecure illustrate the successful integration of traditional materials into contemporary projects.
