In the work "Mini roundabouts-possibilitties for implementation in urban areas" the basic features of the mini roundabouts and their application are described. It has been analyzed: the features of the mini roundabouts, the main criterias that must meet the roundabout regardless of the type, to be sure to see if there is the possibility of designing circular intersections and the specificity of the design of mini roundabouts in relation to other roundabouts. The security aspects of the mini roundabout and safety of pedestrians in the intersection area were analyzed. It also gives an overview of the rules for design of mini-roundabouts in other countries, as well as analysis of procedures for checking the permeability of circular intersections. An existing mini roundabout was analyzed in relation to the previously standard three-lane crossroads at the crossroads of St. Anne's Street and Zdravko Kučić Street. The way of reconstruction, direction of movement of vehicles, mutual vehicle relationship (conflict point) and safety of pedestrians in the zone of the previous and the current intersection were analyzed. In the work analyzes the location for the possible performance of a mini roundabout at the crossroads of St. Anne 's Street and the Street of Franje Belulovica. An analysis of the existing intersection was carried out and the level of service was established and at the existing standard intersection. The location for the mini roundabout was analyzed according to the criteria for assessing the appropriateness of the implementation of circular intersections stipulated by the Croatian Circular Intersection Design Guidelines The intersection was solved with all geometrical elements at the design level.
