Abstract
Predviđena je izrada idejnog rješenja rekonstrukcije Ulice Antona Mihića te novog spoja na čvor Opatija – Jug. Ulica Antona Mihića postojeća je ulica čijom bi se rekonstrukcijom i izgradnjom nove prometnice prometno povezalo Grad Opatiju sa budućom obilaznicom. Unutar rada, uz rekonstrukciju postojećeg dijela prometnice, obuhvaćena je i rekonstrukcija postojećeg raskrižja sa Novom cestom, a i prikazana su neka nova prometna rješenja. Posebna pažnja pridodana je projektiranju serpentine koja se nalazi na trasi kako bi se lakše savladalo visinske razlike na dijelu prometnice. Projektom je definiran cijeli niz parametara koji su bitni za funkcionalnost i sigurnost odvijanja prometa. Pažnja je usmjerena i na pješački promet koji ima tendenciju rasta kroz određeno vremensko razdoblje uzevši u obzir buduću stambenu izgradnju. Izgradnjom navedene ceste Opatija bi svakako bila bolje prometno povezana a cesta bi imala pozitivne učinke na smanjenje gužvi na području grada.
Abstract (english)
The development of a conceptual design for the reconstruction of Anton Mihić Street and a new connection to the Opatija - South junction is planned. Antona Mihića Street is an existing street whose reconstruction and construction of a new road would connect the City of Opatija with the future bypass. Within the work, in addition to the reconstruction of the existing part of the road, the reconstruction of the existing intersection with Nova cesta is included, and some new traffic solutions are presented. Special attention was paid to the design of the serpentine located on the route in order to more easily overcome the height differences on the part of the road. The project defines a number of parameters that are important for the functionality and safety of traffic. Attention is also focused on pedestrian traffic, which has a tendency to increase over a period of time, taking into account future housing construction. With the construction of this road, Opatija would certainly be better connected with traffic and the road would have positive effects on reducing congestion in the city.
