Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je usporediti dvije vrste kamenih agregata koji su najčešće u primjeni koristeći mjerodavne i znanstveno ispravne metode kako bi se utvrdila razlika između agregata vapnenačkog i eruptivnog podrijetla. Također je objašnjen proces nastanka triju vrsta stijena koje se koriste u građevinarstvu i njihova rasprostranjenost u Hrvatskoj. U nastavku je prikazana podjela kamenog agregata, njegova uloga u betonskoj mješavini i svojstva koja mora imati kako bi zadovoljio tehničke zahtjeve. U daljem dijelu opisana je proizvodnja betona, njegovi osnovni sastojci te prednosti i mane betonskih konstrukcija. U sklopu praktičnog dijela ovog rada provedena su ispitivanja svježeg i očvrsnulog betona u laboratoriju za materijale na Građevinskom fakultetu u Rijeci. Nakon što su provedena sva ispitivanja na obje mješavine dobiveni rezultati su analizirani i međusobno uspoređeni.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this thesis is to compare the two types of stone aggregates that are most commonly used by using authoritative and scientifically correct methods in order to determine the difference between aggregates of calcareous and eruptive origin. The process of formation of three types of rocks used in construction and their distribution in Croatia is also explained. In the text below is the division of stone aggregate, its role in the concrete mix and the properties it must have in order to achive technical requirements. In further work is described the production of concrete, its basic ingredients and the advantages and disadvantages of concrete structures. As part of the practical part of this work, fresh and hardened concrete were tested in the materials laboratory at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka. After all tests were performed on both mixtures, the obtained results were analyzed and compared with each other.
