Subject of diploma thesis is biaxially symmetrical steel structure of production hall located on thenisland of Rab, with ground plan dimensions of 60,0 x 80,0 meters. The roof surface is arched with radius of 114,5 meters. Generating lines of cylindrical surface are parallel with the longer axis of the structure. The height of the hall in the rooftop is 13,0 meters, while 9,0 meters in the roof deck. The design of individual elements and connections of the structure was conducted in accordance with the standard EUROCODE 3 and accompanying National annexes. Competent load on the structure was determined according to the standard EUROCODE 1 and accompanying National annexes for snow and wind loads. Dead load of roof covering, facade cladding and installations was determined from supplied accessories. Dead weight of the elements was taken into calculation by software package. Calculation of elements, ie. design and its previous analysis of the spatial model of the structure, was conducted using the software package Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis in a way that each individual element meet the requirements of the stability and mechanical resistance for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
