Abstract
Čelik u arhitekturi je postao jedan od najvažnijih materijala. Zbog svoje velike čvrstoće, nosivosti i estetskog izgleda pogodan je za širok spektar djelatnosti. Još od početka njegovog nastajanja, čovjek je postao svjestan njegovih kvaliteta te ga je počeo sve više primjenjivati i proučavati. Potražnja za čelikom i njegova proizvodnja sve više raste još od njegovog otkrivanja. Novim vrstama čelika poboljšala su se njegova svojstva, te njegova primjena postaje nezamjenjiva. Stalnim razvojem novih metoda usavršava se ova vrsta materijala te samim tim nastaju i novi načini gradnje. U ovom radu opisan je povijesni razvoj čelika, njegovo nastajanje kroz povijest,načini i metode u kojima se koristi danas, te suvremena primjena čelika u arhitekturi.
Abstract (english)
Steel in architecture is one of the most important materials. Because of its strenght, load-capacity and esthetic apperance it can be used in a wide range of activities. Since it is created,people were aware of capacity of steel and they have started to use it even more. Demands for steel and his production are increasinig since it has been developed. With new types of steel are improved structural properties of steel, and uses of steel are irreplacebale . Continuous development of new methods are perfecting this kind of material and on this way are developed new ways of building. In this work I wrote about historial development of steel,his formation during the history,ways and methods where we can use it and his modern implementation in architecture.
