Abstract
Beton će tijekom svog uporabnog vijeka trajanja prolaziti kroz volumne promjene zbog djelovanja naprezanja, promjene sadržaja vlage i promjene temperature. Reakcija betona na ove podražaje je vrlo složena te uzrokuje povratne, nepovratne i vremenski-ovisne deformacije. Ovim radom objasniti će se tri glavna tipa deformacija: 1. Skupljanje, koje se javlja gubitkom vlažnosti 2. Deformacije, koje se javljaju uslijed velikih brzina opterećenja 3. Puzanje, što je vremenski ovisna deformacija koja se javlja uslijed dugotrajnog naprezanja Ove se promjene prate mjerenjem uzdužne deformacije i one su istog reda veličine za svaki navedeni tip deformacija. Razlikujemo još deformacije nastale uslijed opterećenja koja se često koriste u laboratorijskim ispitivanjima materijala te modula elastičnosti, iako i u takvim slučajevima postoji element ovisnosti o vremenu. Također postoje i deformacije uslijed temperaturnih promjena.
Abstract (english)
Concrete will undergo volume changes while in service, due to stimuli such as applied stress, change of moisture content, and changes in temperature. The response of the concrete to these stimuli is complex, resulting in reversible, irreversible, and time-dependent deformations This chapter deals with three main types of deformations: 1. Shrinkage, which occurs with loss of moisture. 2. Deformations that occur under high rates of loading. 3. Creep, which is the time-dependent deformation that occurs on the prolonged application of stress These changes are monitored by measuring longitudinal strain, and these strains are of the same order of magnitude in each case. We also have strains associated with loading rates typically used in material tests and modulus of elasticity, although there is an element of time dependency even in these cases. There are also strains due to thermal changes.
