Abstract
Ovim radom ukazuje se na čimbenike koji se moraju uzeti u obzir pri projektiranju lukobrana. U uvodu je dan uvid u važnost lukobrana kao zaštite luke i lučkih objekata. Objašnjena je refleksija valova te problemi koje ona uzrokuje. Promatrani su različiti tipovi lukobrana i utjecaj refleksije na njih. Takožđer su objašnjene transmisija i prelijevanje te načini njihova proračuna. Dan je kratki opis dvije najčešće vrste lukobrana, nasutog i vertikalnog. U diplomskom radu je napravljen proračun 5 modela vertikalnih lukobrana, kojima je varirana kota krune. Dobivene su vrijednosti koeficijenta transmisije, faktora sigurnosti na klizanje, faktora sigurnosti na prevrtanje, te su ti rezultati mežđusobno uspoređženi. Na kraju je dan cjelokupni osvrt na diplomski rad.
Abstract (english)
This paper points out the factors that must be taken into account in the design of the breakwater. The introduction presents an insight into the importance of the breakwater as protection of the ports and port facilities. It explains the reflection of the waves and the problems that it causes. It observes the different types of breakwaters and the influence of reflection on them. It explains the transmission and overtopping and the methods of their calculation. It’s given a brief description of the two most common types of the breakwater, the mound and vertical. The thesis made calculation of 5 models of vertical breakwater, which varied the height of the crest. It obtaines the coefficient of transmission, the safety factor against sliding, the safety factor against overturning, and these results are compared. At the end it’s given the overall review of the thesis.
