The task of this thesis is to make a conceptual design of sanitary drainage and wastewater treatment for the settlements of Kanfanar, Burići and Marići. The basis for the thesis is taken from the Spacial Plans of the Municipality of Kanfanar. Planned sewer network is consisted of 10,375 m of gravity sewer, and 229 m of pressure pipelines connected to the four pumping stations. The disposal of sanitary wastewater in given area is provided by the Spatial Plan, whereas the disposal of wastewater for other settlements in the municipality is planned via septic tanks. Since there were no systems constructed for sewage treatment in these settlements, the given solution will enable the connection of most of the population of the municipality to the public sewer system, which leads to many advantages in the sanitary and environmental terms. The wastewater is directed toward the planned location for the construction of MBR treatment device with the effect of wastewater treatment to water quality of second level degree, which corresponds to second category of water protection area. The thesis also describes in details all elements of the dreinage system and shows the calculation of wastewater quantity, the size of the collectors, hydraulic and static calculation of the pipes and pumps, along with the sizing calculation of MBR treatment device. The graphical part shows the situation of the whole system and the longitudinal profiles of major collectors and details of manholes and sewage pipes installation trench.
