This thesis deals with the design of reinforced concrete slabs and beams, which are key components in the construction of strong and stable structures. The reinforced concrete slabs are designed to be load- bearing in two directions and are supported by external walls and beams with a width of 25 cm. This approach allows for an even distribution of loads and increases the stability of the structure. The static system of the beams represents a continuous support that extends over three spans of equal length, 7.5 meters in the x-direction and 5.25 meters in the y-direction. As part of the static calculation, the bending moments at the mid-span and supports for the slabs and beams were calculated. For the cross-reinforced slabs, the calculation is performed without considering the most unfavorable position. The beams are designed not only for bending but also for shear force, which further increases their load-bearing capacity and resistance to external influences. Based on the results obtained from the static calculations, the appropriate reinforcement for the slabs and beams was selected. Further calculations provided a detailed statement of the quantity of reinforcement and a reinforcement plan that includes precise specifications required for construction. This approach ensures that the structure will be not only stable and safe but also economical in terms of material usage.
