The subject of this master thesis is the asymmetrical steel construction of the canopy roof over the tribune of the football field in the city of Karlovac with a floor area of 367 m2. The construction of the canopy roof consists of two segments, an oblique part with a slope of 39° and a horizontal part. The elevation of the sloping part extends 2,00-8.80 meters above ground, while the horizontal part is at a height of 8.80 m. The sizing of elements and joints of the aformentioned structure was performed in accordance with Eurocode 3 and the corresponding National Annexes. The relevant load on the structure is determined in accordance with Eurocode 1 and the corresponding National Snow and Wind Load Annexes. Dead load of the cladding was determined from the attached work additions. Self weight of the elements was taken into account when using the software package. Static analysis and calculation, i.e. sizing of structural elements was performed in the software package Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2022 with the aim that each individual element meets the requirements of stability and mechanical resistance for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. The paper analyses two models with different plane truss heights and consequently different cross sections. The following details of the Model 1 joints were dimensioned and shown: upper chord and diagonal, purlin and upper chord, purlin and inclined stabilization bar and connection between truss and reinforced concrete column.
