This paper describes the Krka River and its characteristic water regime, as well as other hydrogeological characteristics. The Krka River is a natural phenomenon which to a large extent flows through the Krka National Park. It is known for its exceptional waterfalls formed on travertine barriers, the most famous of which are Skradinski Buk and Roški Slap. The paper deals with the hydrological stations Skradinski Buk Gornji, Roški Slap and Ključice located in the area of Visovačko Lake, a natural lake created on the Krka River as a result of the growth of travertine barriers. The paper used the available daily, monthly and annual data by stations through which the analysis of monthly and annual flows of the Krka River related to the mentioned observed hydrological stations was performed. The analysis covers areas such as correlation analysis, basic statistical analysis of monthly and annual data sets, which includes the mean values of annual series and intra-annual distribution, course and trend of characteristic values, the probability of occurrence of maximum values according to Gumbel and frequency and duration curves, supported by graphic annexes.
