Grobnik circuit was built in 1978., where the races for World Motorcycle Championships were held for a number of years, but due to the rapid and great development of cars and motorcycles, the technical and safety requirements of the track became unsatisfactory and Grobnik was no longer able to host such significant races. The aim of this paper is to analyze and determine the possibilities of the Grobnik circuit to return to the past days in which all smelled of octane and where cars and motorcycles raced on Grobnik. In order to achieve this goal and attract the most important world competitions on Grobnik, including the Formula 1 cars, solutions and race track improvements were proposed according to the regulations of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), which by its implementation would be a major step forward for the Grobnik circuit. The extension of the track has been proposed. Extension includes five curves, which three of them are right-handed and two of them are left-handed. The curves are connected with two straights. Also is given the proposal of extending the width of the whole track and reconstructing run-off areas that would greatly enhance track safety. Racing tracks are designed out of the usual road design standards because of their specific purposes. Various speed calculations affecting track width and curve radius have also been implemented. This changes, if accepted would meet all the FIA requirements, which would again attract the world's biggest competitions.
