The task of this thesis was to analyze the current state of the Pula breakwater (PL), and to consider the possibility of its rehabilitation. The primary goal of the rehabilitation of the structure is to prevent further deterioration of the breakwater, and to achieve satisfactory stability and functionality. The work consists of a textual work, photographs, calculations and drawings. As part of the work, preliminary field research was carried out as part of a tour of the locality. In the introductory part, the historical importance of the Pula breakwater is emphasized, with a description of the current state of the Pula breakwater and a conceptual solution for its rehabilitation. For the current situation, it was determined that there is an excessive overflow of waves over the structure of the breakwater, which is about a hundred times higher than the recommended values. However, because of this excessive overflow, the loads of the waves on the front face of the breakwater are smaller, and adequate stability of the structure against overturning and sliding has been achieved. Dimensioning of the new, designed state of the structure was carried out. After dimensioning, a comparison of the existing and projected state of the Pula breakwater is presented with the help of a tabular representation and a textual description.
