Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada određivanje je čvrstoće pijeska uređajem za prstenasto smicanje. Prilikom izrade rada provedeno je više pokusa u Geotehničkom laboratoriju Građevinskog fakulteta u Rijeci u uređaju za prstenasto smicanje modela ICL-1. Za sve pokuse koristili su se uzorci jednoliko graduiranog pijeska korištenog u sklopu znanstveno-istraživačkog projekta Hrvatske zaklade za znanost „Fizičko modeliranje ponašanja konstrukcija za sanaciju klizišta u uvjetima statičkih i seizmičkih djelovanja“ (ModLandRemSSU). Uzorak je ispitivan u dreniranim uvjetima pri različitim vrijednostima efektivnih normalnih naprezanja od 32, 60, 120 i 200 kPa. U sklopu ispitivanja izvršena je konsolidacija, a kasnije se uzorak smicao uz povratni pritisak i konstantni prirast posmičnog pomaka u uređaju za prstenasto smicanje. U radu je opisan povijesni razvoj, koncept, građa uređaja i postupak ispitivanja u uređaju, te opis uzorka tla. Rezultati ispitivanja su prikazani u krajnjem poglavlju u kojem su dani vršni i rezidualni parametri Mohr – Coulombovog kriterija čvrstoće pijeska.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is the determination of the sand strength parameters using ring shear apparatus. During the preparation of the thesis, several tests were made in the Geotechnics Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Rijeka in the ICL-1 ring shear apparatus. For all tests, samples of uniformly graded sand were used as part of the scientific research project of the Croatian Science Foundation "Physical modeling of the behavior of structures for landslide rehabilitation under static and seismic conditions" (ModLandRemSSU). The sample was tested in drained conditions at different values of effective normal stresses of 32, 60, 120 and 200 kPa. As part of the test, consolidation was carried out, and later the sample was sheared with return pressure and constant increase in shear displacement in the ring shear apparatus. The paper describes the historical development, concept, structure of the apparatus and the test procedure in the apparatus, as well as a description of the soil sample. The results are presented in the final chapter where the peak and residual parameters of the Mohr – Coulomb sand strength criterion are given.
